Welcome to our website. The practice is open, and we are working hard to offer the best possible service to our patients. We are sorry if you have not heard from us in a while, but the pandemic has caused significant disruption to the delivery of dental care.If you require treatment or advice, please give our receptionteam a call andthey will be happy to help you.

Below is some information about ‘how things are’ at the moment:

Disruption to Routine Care (check-ups and treatment)

Standard, nationwide procedures to protect staff and patients form Coronavirus infection, have reduced the number of patients we can see each day. Reduced appointment capacity means that:
• It will take a long time for us to work through the backlog of ‘check-ups’
• The interval between ‘check-ups’ for adult patients is likely to be longer than it was before the pandemic
• The waiting time for routine treatment is likely to be quite long

Regrettably, these problems are affecting medical servicesacross the NHS, as reported in the media.

Emergency Appointments/ Unusual ‘lumps and bumps’

There is no wait for emergency care. If you require emergency care or if you have any concern about your oral health, please contact the reception team so you can be triaged for an emergency appointment. Please phone as early in the morning as possible.

If you have an ulcer that is not healing, a discoloured patch of gum, or any unusual ‘lumps or bumps’ in or around your mouth, please come and have it checked as a matter of urgency.

Attending the Practice

Please do not enter the practice if you have any signs or symptoms of possible Covid infection. Please try to maintain social distancing, and although masks may not be mandatory, we encourage the continued use of masks within our premises to help protect vulnerable patients.

Conclusion

The pandemic continues to disrupt patient care and create challenging conditions for practice staff. We are working hard to meet our patient’s needs and we are grateful for your continued patience and cooperation.
